Purrs, please
I often get a little itchy in the winter, nothing too serious. This
year, I seem to have a near-full-body case of dermatitis. I feel as if I am being slowly roasted over an open flame. The areas of itching are too big for those little bottles of ointment, although I am earnestly trying to stay moisturized. This winter has been one stupid thing after another for me. Could you please purr that my skin calms down soon? I am off to take an oatmeal bath. Try zyrtec. You can get it over the counter now. My girlfriend has had this, and what worked better for her than Zirtek was Periactin (cyproheptadine). It's a very old drug and one of the cheapest on the market - most pharmacists don't keep it in stock (doesn't make them enough money) but they can get it on special order. It may make some people sleepy, but usually not after the first couple of times you've tried it. Check what's in whatever you're using as a moisturizer. Marion turned out to be violently allergic to one of the commonest preservatives used in skin creams. Baby creams generally have less allergenic stuff in them. ==== j a c k at c a m p i n . m e . u k === http://www.campin.me.uk ==== Jack Campin, 11 Third St, Newtongrange EH22 4PU, Scotland == mob 07800 739 557 CD-ROMs and free stuff: Scottish music, food intolerance, and Mac logic fonts |
