Default Weird AL

After seeing and listening to Jill's post with the site of Weird Al's
(don't ask me to spell his last name, please) ebay song, I couldn't
take it anymore and sent him a combination question and thank you
letter. As most of you know his concert was one of the few bright
lights in a terrifying and stressful year.

And I quote:

First I want to thank you for adding your concert in Raleigh NC to
your tour. My 24 year old Son is a major fan of yours (I can't
imagine where he gets THAT from) and was not able to see your concert
in Fayetteville, NC a couple of years ago.

What I really want to know is, are you aware how many fans you have in
my USENET cat group? I let them know that our family would be going
to your show which prompted a lot of visits to this site. Afterwards
there was a request (the private email mentioned weaponry) for a trip
report. Do you have any pets, do any of them tour with you and the
band, and have you ever visited rec.pets.cats.anecdotes on USENET?

Again thanks for the music and the laughs.

Pam S.

I really think Weird Al is a cat person. But even if he's just a pet
person, I think of him as an honorary member of this group because he
fits into the insanity in here so well.

He's probably a cat person much as Ian Anderson from Tull is a cat person.
Of course, I'm dating myself here. Some folks won't have any idea who these
people are. Oh, but I loved Weird Al's version of Beat It and a few other
Michael Jackson tunes.
