This morning, Vernon's plastered leg was giving him some gip. He'd had a
rough night, so had a lie-in this morning. Nurse Waffles was in attendence.
She gently jumped up on Vernon's chest, curled up with her head under his
chin and *purred* her quiet purr. Paw immediately relaxed and settled. She
is a lovely cat

I remember how my husband could take a pain pill and it do nothing. Miz
Piglet could lay down beside him, his hand would begin to give light
skretches on her neck and back. Before long, they would both be asleep.
Blest be Bast for this.

Awww, Nurse Waffles knows just what the patient wants and needs. =o)
And obviously, she knows the power of the purr.
