[The busy teleporters twinkles again, and two skunks and a raccoon step
out. They all stand off to the side, looking around the clearing.]

Pepe: Oh my, I'm not sure we should have come. We're skunks, they'll run
away from us.

Gigi: That's what you always say, and they always welcome us with open
arms. I'm going out there to greet people! Mr. Raccoon, what about you?
Would you like to join us?

Rocky: Absolutely! But let's not go too fast, as I'm a little decrepit.

[The 3 head for the Boutique tents.]

Sammy Redcat, spotting them from the other side of the clearing: Pepe,
Gigi, hihi! I'm glad you could come! Everyone will be so glad to see
you. And you look familiar. Aren't you with FluffyKits?

Rocky: Yes, I'm glad you remembered me. I'm Rocky. I direct the raccoon
crew at FluffyKits. Since the resort is taking care of the food I
figured I could afford some time off to come to the Ball.

Daisy-chan looks up and sees Pepe and Gigi and waves then setting her
dress on their pile at the counter, goes back to walk with Rocky to the
boutique, pointing out some of the easy ramps they have installed at
the main event so the older folks can manage easily if stairs are
becoming a problem.

"Oh, I'm staying at the Cat's Lodge and they have more rooms too or you
3 can fit in with me and Prince if really BIG doggies don't bother you.
He's stacked wood for our stay inside already so we will be very toasty
at night to keep that danged Aurtitis fellow away."

Thang you, Miss Daisy-Chan. I would like that. I do feel the cold in
these old bones. And I'm ok wif big doggies, if they're ok wif me. I've
learned over the years that our early fears are often unfounded - like
raccoons fearing dogs and cats. I find that most critters of oter
species are actually furry nice people if given half a chance. I'm too
old to be worrying about stuff like that.

Most welcome Rocky! Gigi and Pepe? Would you like to stay with us or
do the young critter thing in a tent?

Prince sees them and comes over for introductions.

Lucy Lu steps out of the porter and sees all her friends." "Hi everyone,
I need to go to the boutique for a new dress. I'll talk later."

Lucy Lu steps out of the porter and sees all her friends." "Hi
everyone, I need to go to the boutique for a new dress. I'll talk
later."

"Hi Lucy! There's a lovely shimmering silver one that I think would
complement you very well! They were also putting out some new ones"
says Daisy-chan.

Prince waves from the counter while paying for his purchases with his
Dane Express card. It's the new kind with him picture and a chip with
his paw scan. The cashier chuckles and brings out the large paw
scanner which authenticates him. All very secure.

He comes back to the group he sits and greets everyone. "You will be
most welcome Rocky! Pepe and Gigi too if you want to stay with us!
Plenty of room! The Memory foam bed is big enough for 4 of me!" as
Prince is talking Benni (very small kitten, female) comes up and asks
if he will give rides later to some of her friends too? He agrees with
laughter and the others join in.

He takes them up and shows them they have a private front entrance to
the Cat's Lodge (1st french door to the right of the entry) and the
Countess is at the second one. They overlook all the tent events.
Since it gets chilly in the evenings by now, a low fire is going, well
banked and in time, will warm the long wide hearth bricks making for a
very nice toasty spot to lay. He shows them all around. It is
essentially a large room with 3 doors. One leads direct to outside,
one to the hall, and the other to the Countesses room. Discretely
covered by doors, is a small kitchenette in a closet like enclosure on
the wall shared with the Lodge lobby. Some of the doors have closet and
storage space.

A huge king sized bed dominates the floor about 4ft from the fireplace
brick ending. There a big TV and a low Japanese looking eating table
to the right of the bed with heating unit underneath and comforter to
top the table with. There are also some very comfortable looking lazy
boy chairs.

"The silver dress is perfect." Lucy lu looks through the necklaces and

picks out a silver and black one. Taking her purchases to the counter

she takes out her tuna charge card.
