Bless My Neighbor
With everything else that has been going on the neighbor whose cats I "sit"
(heheh) from time to time brought me Persia's prescription food from the vet tonight. I was about to run out. She works three days a week and her work takes her right past the vet's office. So she brought another 10 lb. bag of Hill's c/d and a case of gooshy food for Persia. Bless her! (Of course I paid her for it, and this stuff ain't cheap!) It was one less trip I had to make. Even though I have caregivers in here helping me out it's been hard for me to go shopping. Persia is still hiding in the bedroom although she did come out to inspect the new bag of food I put in the bathroom closet. It's a tad late to feed her (she still has her kibble, if nothing else all these strangers tromping in and out are helping with her "diet" LOL). Tomorrow morning I'll give her a can of the chicken c/d. I tried out a couple of cans on her before committing to buying a full case because she's fussy. Persia doesn't like seafood. She turns her nose up at human tuna. Okay, what's wrong with this cat? Apparently she likes chicken. So I got the canned chicken. A case of it. Let's just hope she doesn't start turning her nose up at this $30 case of cat food. Jill |

Jill It's amazing how we can do a small thing for someone else, and it turns out to be a huge help to that person. 'Bon courage' with your mom, as my mother used to say when things were tough.
