kidney cancer treatment?

Our 19-year-old cat was diagnosed with kidney cancer. The vet did an ultrasound and had a specialist look at it also. He says that surgery won't help, and there really isn't anything they can do. They did not do a biopsy because of the cat's age, but they still are quite certain of the diagnosis. Our cat is still doing okay, especially after he gets a cortizone injection every two weeks or so to reduce the kidney swelling. However, he is becoming more tired, and spends most of his time sleeping or resting in a corner. He does emerge for petting and the usual eating, drinking, litter box use. We hate to see him wasting away without at least trying something to help him. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? Thanks. Gary kidney cancer treatments are tailored to help a patient deal with the different problems during and after treatment such as stress, pain, emotional instability etc. Read this article - http://www.onlymyhealth.com/alternat...ent-1334208110 |
