I wonder what one should do to a sleeping cat? I've been facing this
dilemma for as long as I've had Betty.

My gosh, she has you so well trained!!!!!!!! LOL.

Personally, there are two things I must do to a sleeping cat... 1. Kiss it
2. Shake it to make sure it's alive.

Stacey (who also likes to give a sleeping kitty a little fright now and
then!)

I don't know if it's training. I think that everyone must do to their
cats what I do to Betty. Who can resist kissing and petting a
sleeping cat? Oh, I think she's asleep right now. Nope, she just
pawed my arm. Hmm, but her eyes are closed. I think she might just
have been dreaming.

There, she just pawed at me again, but she seems to be sleeping.
She's such a touch oriented cat. She paws at me for everything, even
when she's not awake!

In what order to you perform actions 1 and 2? Do you first shake
them, then kiss them goodbye if they don't move, or kiss them, and if
they taste like they might be dead, shake them to make sure?

When I see Betty sleeping, I just assume she's alive. You're such a
pessimist.

Tak, do you actually know what a dead cat *tastes* like?
