Another happy day!

Another pretty cat started showing up a couple of weeks ago. A big,
cream-orange with white paws boy. He was very shy, and resisted being
approached, touched or petted for awhile. Eventually, he let me pet him.
I started calling him 'OtherCat'

Today, one of the neighbors came to our door, holding (!!) and petting
him. He told me they were going to be moving out in the next couple of
days, and buying a house, and that OtherCat was very sweet and friendly.
Would I mind if they adopted him?

I said that I'd be HAPPY if they'd adopt him. So OtherCat gets a forever
home! Yay!

Hugs and Purrs (and happy, happy dances),
Mark

That is happy news!

Those are nice neighbors, not just for adopting OtherCat, but for asking
you if it was OK. Even if they didn't need your permission, you probably
would have wondered what happened to him if they'd just taken him with no
explanation. Too bad they're not going to stay neighbors.

The heck with top and bottom -- I want relationships with strangeness
and charm.

Hmm. That is wonderful, but everyone should have at least two cats.
Perhaps if they ask nicely I can find another for them.

We still have Butterscotch, Orville, Sylvester and Paleface who need
homes, and sometimes Miss Emily...
