A conversation with Persia
No, Persia, Daylight Savings Time does NOT mean you get to eat an hour
earlier! See, technically it's still only 4:00AM and besides, you don't get fed until 6AM anyway. What do you mean that isn't fair?! How would you like it if, when DST ends in the Fall, I don't let you eat for an extra hour simply because some hoomin decided to change all the clocks again, hmmm? What's that you say? Oh, well, yes, eventually I'll get used to the time difference and feed you when the clock says it's 6AM. But it doesn't say that yet so stop trying to trip me up! It's still not time yet! What? Peaches gets to eat any time? Well, yes. But Peaches is a bird and she's not *fluffy*. Huh? You say the bird gets fluffy all the time? That's different. Peaches has feathers, which she fluffs up. No, that doesn't mean she needs to go on a diet, too. And no, I will not let her out of her cage so she can demonstrate this for you up close! Persia, it's not time yet!! Jill |

Persia, it's not time yet!! Oscar seems to be very un-catlike in this regard. She just doesn't insist on being fed. This morning, she wasn't fed until 11:30 (okay, that would have been 10:30 yesterday) because I was so sleepy. -- monique, who spoils Oscar unmercifully pictures: http://www.bounceswoosh.org/rpca |
