Sir Fuzz Buttly says heis getting hungry for meat, and is sick and
tired of that dry cat food. So i was just wondering about the law on
this . . . does anyone have any known law on it?

I have said that weare accepting donations, however no bites thank you
all. Soooo now everybody is meat starved, and the only answer is the
obvious . . . kitty cannabalism !
The hides can be used for warm, fuzzy, winter mittens for starving,
little children in Africa?

Why don't you just donate all those inbred cats to the local Chinese
restaurants??? They could do wonders with them.......Poached Persian,
Steamed Siamese, BBQ Burmese, Curried Calico, etc.
You could also make a big hit at your local KKK meeting by putting all your
non/arayan looking cats in a blender and serving them as cocktails.....

Marinated Country Ribs

Technically country ribs aren't "ribs" in the sense that spare ribs are. I
like this cut because they have a lot of meat on them and are usually much
less expensive than actual pork or beef spare ribs, thus stretching the food
dollar. And you don't feel like you're gnawing on bones like a character
from The Flintstones So, you'll need 3-4 lbs. of country ribs.

The marinade:

1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges with juice
1/2 c. teriyaki sauce (I use the lower sodium version)
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 yellow onion, quartered
1/4 c. neutral vegetable oil (such as canola, nothing heavily flavoured like
olive)
1/4 c. crystallized ginger*

Combine all ingredients (except for the ribs!) in a blender. Pour the
mixture over the ribs in a 13X9 baking dish. Cover and marinate for several
hours or overnight, turning the ribs occasionally.

*crystallized ginger can be very expensive. You can easily substitute a
couple of tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 tsp. dried ground ginger powder
to achieve the same taste.

To prepare the dish: 2 hours before serving, preheat the oven to 350F.
Arrange the ribs on a rack in a roasting pan. Reserve the marinade for
basting. Bake ribs for 1 hour, turning once. Brush generously with the
marinade and back for another 1-1/2 hours until fork tender, basting and
turning them every 20-30 minutes.

NOTE: If you prefer you may cook these on a grill. But you'll want
indirect heat to prevent flare-ups and burning. And you will have to turn
the meat and brush it with the reserved marinade more frequently. The aim
is nice slow cooking.

Sounds good! I'm going to try this, except that I will eliminate the ginger
because I am allergic to it. (Too bad...I used to love it until I realized
that ginger was what was causing all sorts of digestive problems.)
