From island cats to city cats

Welcome Back Marina! You know that web page of Nikki purring? I put it on my desk top. When I'm playing windows media player I usually put it on random. Every so often I'll hear two minutes of smile making purrs. Thank you for letting her purr file be placed on the web. Aww, thanks, Pam. I'm so glad her purring can lighten up your day. Am eager to read about all the adventures on the island and how Caliban and Miranda did. I bet they had a great time. They did! I'm posting a few stories I wrote out there, and I hope to write some more soon. -- Marina, Miranda and Caliban. In loving memory of Frank and Nikki. there are some beautiful photos there. I especially like this one of Linus, with all the reds in the wood around him http://community.webshots.com/photo/...8511339IDXqrm# Thanks, Helen! Welcome back! Great pics there! Would love to have an island like that
to go to in the summer, have always loved the sea and cliffs. And just for the record, I haven't forgotten about SMS'ing you, but there haven't been any more news about that matter to send you. So everyone's still waiting. -- Christine in Vantaa, Finland christal63 (at) gmail (dot) com photos: http://photos.yahoo.com/christal63 photos: http://community.webshots.com/user/chkr63 |

We're back! The cats are exhausted from the trip and have been sleeping for hours (after they'd checked that everything was in its place here at home). I'm pretty knackered myself, but here are some pictures to start with. I'll write more about our time on the island after I've had some sleep. http://community.webshots.com/album/552460626WgRCAp (Webshots seems to have increased their free disk space) Wonderful photos Marina, it looks like you all had a very peaceful and relaxing time! Linus is a handsome fellow. Particularly liked the rock greebling and 'washing' pics :-) Deb. -- http://www.scientific-art.com "He looked a fierce and quarrelsome cat, but claw he never would; He only bit the ones he loved, because they tasted good." Welcome back! Wow, time flies, it seems like you just left! Anyway,
great pics! I love the bag cats one, how sweet! And Emil is definitely a lot heftier than Miranda, isn't he? -- Britta Purring is an automatic safety valve device for dealing with happiness overflow. OMG! What did you feed Caliban in the island? He looks HUGE! Grrr. *I* didn't feed him any more than usual. In fact, when we left for the island, I was hoping that he would lose a little weight on the island, what with getting more exercise. Haha! Caliban proved to be an absolutely shameless food smooch. He would go into the other houses and eat the other cats' food virtually under their noses. Kasper and Emil just let him do it, but if Linus or Ronja caught him eating *their* food, they chased Caliban off *their* property. But I blame the hoomins, too. They all said they would chase Caliban away if they saw him at one of their food bowls, but knowing Caliban, and having seen how he charmed everyone, I suspect they let him eat some before they chased him off. Caliban even went into my brother's tent to see if he could mooch some food there! I considered changing his name to Bandit. It morphed into Calibandido. -- Marina, Miranda and Caliban.
