I hope that the wild weather heading towards WA (Western Australia,
not Washington!) does not cause you and harm or inconvenience. It
looks like it's going to be a doozy of a storm!

Hi Tish and everyone else
According to the Met bureau, the worst weather is expected further
inland so Britta and I should, fingers crossed, be OK here near the
coast. I expect the sheep and cows (not to mention the farmers) in the
path of the storms could do with a few purrs though.
For anyone not in Aus, there are two storms moving in over WA, one from
the north and the other from the south and some sort of meteorological
fireworks are predicted when the two meet. The satellite pictures make
quite spectacular viewing:

is about this time yesterday.

It wasn't too bad actually. A rather nasty day with heavy rain squalls
and some fairly heavy winds. Definitely not summer like at all! Our
backyard turned into a soggy puddle and Vino was not amused, but other
than that it was all ok. I'm hoping the nice warm weather we had around
Christmastime will return soonest. Next year when we have our house we
will be glad for the rain though because we'll be on tank water.

Purring is an automatic safety valve device for dealing with happiness
overflow.
