RL has been keeping me busy, but I've decided to spend my day off and
do my level best to get the unread messages read - only another 3000
and I'll actually have it down to zero - but then I haven't done a
download today ;-) Course, with this many messages I'm not taking time
to respond to many individual messages - so purrs are being sent to
those in need.

I was wondering the other day where you were Steve. Glad to see you.

Almost caught up now, only 23 unread messaes left. Didn't actually
read everything, though, skipped most OT's and sometimes just read the
headers. Also marked some threads to be kept and will go back and read
the whole thread later. The hardest part about trying to catch up in
this group is the way headers sometimes have little to do with what's
actually being discussed as the topic drifts/splints/mutates. So I
imagine I'll end up missing quite a few things, but at least I'LL BE
CAUGHT UP ;-)

Thread drift occurs in just about all groups, some of the most enjoyable
discussions seem to be in threads totally unrelated to the subject line.

Glad to see you're still around, Steve.
