Default Update on new kitten and resident cat

Well its been about 5 weeks now that we've had Webber (13 week old male; got
him at 8 weeks). My resident cat (Chloe; 6 year old female) took about 3-4
weeks until she accepted him (without hissing all the time) and they
actually play quite often. Although I've never seen two cats play and at
first I wasn't sure if they were playing or not. They tumble over each
other and chase back and forth...it makes me laugh that I never thought it
could happen. However Webber had to get his 12 week vaccines and Chloe took
about three days until she wanted to have anything to do with him again.

Webber however is now going through the phase where he's trying to play a
little too aggressively and Chloe has to keep putting him in his place.

Thank you to everyone who gave me advice and told me to stick with it and
not give up. We still have some rocky times but hope that it can only get
better from here.

Paige

That's great news! Sounds like you're going to have a very happy household.
