moved to infront of Barbi. In it's place land 5 steamed and chilled
crabbies, 2 of which are missing legs.

Pit2Nya finds her view almost blocked by a large bowl of whole steamed
shrimp while Pipps and BobQat find their eyes engulfed by whole baked
flounder fishies floating in cream.

Mosey and PookyCat end up next to Daisy-chan and Aunti Mabel staring at
a whole turkey ground raw and with added chicken hearts, livers and
gizzards then made into a cake. It's topped lightly with an icing look
of mashed butternut squash. Tygur almost swoons and other kittahs all
about look at the spread with baited breath.

A young 2foot lights the candles and Daisy-chan whispers, 'thank you
Charlotte' while Aunti Mabel at the head of the table ascends her
ottoman seat from the fishing box step.

Eyeing all her friends gathered, Aunti Mabel flaps her ears in glee.
'Thank you my friends! I wish you all the best joy in life. For each
time that you are sad, remember a time when you were glad. When you
are hungry, remember a feast and that you will be fed. Wez the lucky
ones and we thanks Bast and her companion Sirius.' With a silent
moment of bowed heads, her's rises and with a happy smile she blows out
all the candles. 'Lets Eat' she exclaims!

Pit2nya asks Cash 'How do you get at dat crabbie meats?' and Cash with
a chomp, demonstrates and laughs 'Dats why dey put'em inna front of me.
I'm the crabbie opener'. Cash opens all the crabbies and passes them
down the table. In return, a huge slice of birdie-cake comes back his
way. Even Chester the injester is in awe of how much Cash can engulf!

OEJ passes bits of salmon all about as Chester the injester passes
kittah sized bowls of mousie gravy/soup.

BobQat tries to figure out how to serve Flounder in cream and Barbi
comes over to help him out. Trudi meantime is staring in awe at the
duckie and filling her plate then passing it along.

Little appetizers and small tureens of buttermilk, whole cream, mashed
pumpkin and mashed butternut, plates of bacon and even green beans.

Daisy-chan eyes the green beans with a sigh. She knows that one is for
the doggies. She's eaten a bite or so in curiousity and doesn't
understand the charm but she dips one in melted butter and passes it
down the table for others to sniff. Meowy sniffs and passes. Most do
the same but Cash neatly bites off half when it gets to him. As it
gets around to Chester the injester, he sniffs and takes a small lick.
He nips off a small bit and puts it on his plate. When it gets back to
Daisy-chan, she takes a bitty bite then gives it to Aunti Mabel who
eats the rest.

In the other direction little bowls of the Catnip soup are passing. As
Cash gets them, he sneezes carefully to the side. 'Ah' says Aunti
Mabel, 'We all loves foodz but not always tha same ones! Dats ok! Wez
got all types here!'. Sneeking a peek to the kitchen, she shudders as
she sees her 2foots eating steamed broccoli.

A 2foot drifts in to check the proceedings then gets Cash to move for a
moment and removes 4 very lively crabbies to a bag of ice and takes the
rest off to the kitchen. Another arrives with a small table loaded
with gaily wrapped packages brought by the guests. Aunti Mabel seeing
it all in one spot, forgets to breathe for a few moments!

Daisy-chan sees Cash sjifting in his seat nd Aunti Mabel hopps down
too. Aunti goes to the door to 'THE OUT' and flipps her ears but the
2foots are all laughing inside. Cash saunters down and shortly there
is a sound of flapping ears from inside and a 2foot comes out to open
the door.

Catching on, several kittahs either run outside to the grass or line up
for the 2 kittah litter boxes. Barbi gives Tygur a lift.

Shortly all reassemble and piles of gifts land at Aunti Mabel's feet.

Daisy-chan steps down as she knows Aunti Mabel's non-retractable claws
and arthritis means she needs a little help with the wrapping.

Aunti selects a box. She nuzzles it back and forth and something soft
inside rattles.... She gets the ribbon and paper off then Daisy-chan

too. Aunti goes to the door to 'THE OUT' and flipps her ears but the
2foots are all laughing inside. Cash saunters down and shortly there

Catching on, several kittahs either run outside to the grass or line up
for the 2 kittah litter boxes. Barbi gives Tygur a lift.

Shortly all reassemble and piles of gifts land at Aunti Mabel's feet.

Daisy-chan steps down as she knows Aunti Mabel's non-retractable claws
and arthritis means she needs a little help with the wrapping.

Aunti selects a box. She nuzzles it back and forth and something soft
inside rattles.... She gets the ribbon and paper off then Daisy-chan
slits the tape seam to reveal....

Pit2nya asks Cash 'How do you get at dat crabbie meats?' and Cash
with a chomp, demonstrates and laughs 'Dats why dey put'em inna
front of me. I'm the crabbie opener'. Cash opens all the crabbies
and passes them down the table. In return, a huge slice of
birdie-cake comes back his way. Even Chester the injester is in
awe of how much Cash can engulf!

OEJ passes bits of salmon all about as Chester the injester passes
kittah sized bowls of mousie gravy/soup.

BobQat tries to figure out how to serve Flounder in cream and Barbi
comes over to help him out. Trudi meantime is staring in awe at the
duckie and filling her plate then passing it along.

2foots scamper about it the background adding more little dishes.
Little appetizers and small tureens of buttermilk, whole cream,
mashed pumpkin and mashed butternut, plates of bacon and even green
beans.

Daisy-chan eyes the green beans with a sigh. She knows that one is
for the doggies. She's eaten a bite or so in curiousity and doesn't
understand the charm but she dips one in melted butter and passes it
down the table for others to sniff. Meowy sniffs and passes. Most
do the same but Cash neatly bites off half when it gets to him. As
it gets around to Chester the injester, he sniffs and takes a small
lick. He nips off a small bit and puts it on his plate. When it
gets back to Daisy-chan, she takes a bitty bite then gives it to
Aunti Mabel who eats the rest.

In the other direction little bowls of the Catnip soup are passing.
As Cash gets them, he sneezes carefully to the side. 'Ah' says
Aunti Mabel, 'We all loves foodz but not always tha same ones!
Dats ok! Wez got all types here!'. Sneeking a peek to the
kitchen, she shudders as she sees her 2foots eating steamed
broccoli.

A 2foot drifts in to check the proceedings then gets Cash to move
for a moment and removes 4 very lively crabbies to a bag of ice and
takes the rest off to the kitchen. Another arrives with a small
table loaded with gaily wrapped packages brought by the guests.
Aunti Mabel seeing it all in one spot, forgets to breathe for a few
moments!

it over to the end of the table, Cash makes a seat. As he climbs
up to sit, he has to laugh because he landed infront of a tureen
of cream of catnip and mousie soup. He sneezes (politely to the
side) and it gets moved to infront of Barbi. In it's place land
5 steamed and chilled crabbies, 2 of which are missing legs.

Pit2Nya finds her view almost blocked by a large bowl of whole
steamed shrimp while Pipps and BobQat find their eyes engulfed by
whole baked flounder fishies floating in cream.

Mosey and PookyCat end up next to Daisy-chan and Aunti Mabel
staring at a whole turkey ground raw and with added chicken
hearts, livers and gizzards then made into a cake. It's topped
lightly with an icing look of mashed butternut squash. Tygur
almost swoons and other kittahs all about look at the spread with
baited breath.

A young 2foot lights the candles and Daisy-chan whispers, 'thank
you Charlotte' while Aunti Mabel at the head of the table ascends

I'm all white. Cash is tan and white. Aunti Mabel is white, tan,
black and now a bit grey inna sum spots. Next to maiself's kittah
perfect fur, her's is almost as soft. Snicker, softer den some
kittahs fur to be honest. Cash though, he got doggie hair eben if
a
rather pretty tan color.

Maiself thinks it may be near Aunti Mabels' birthday. See, Meowmie
cleared a big spot inna dat chest freezer. Dat means, a biggie
birdie!

Wez all get lots of it on birdiee day. Wez even gets dat bestest dark
meat dat time! Normally dey steals all dat fur them anna we has to
make due wif the white meat. I peeked though and dis time she's made
a BIG hole so it's a BIG BIRDEE! Dats gud gud gud as dere's 6 of us (3
2foots and 3 4foots).
Ding Ding! Daisy-chan sets a spoon down she used on a glass.

'Kittahs anna Kittah friends, I would like make our official
announcement of appreciation for you all arriving and more still to
come probably fur the celebration of Aunti Mabel's 15th birfday best we
kin count it. She was disadvantaged inna her life by not getting to
meet a kittah until me at age 14 but she tooked right to us as is
proper.

We'z got a title now fur her soz wif a purr count, wez calling her a
'VP' (Venerable Pooch)'. Daisy-chan stands by for purrs throating
her's as loud as she can and watching Aunti Mabel's glistening eyes and
hearing Cash's tail get happy and a soft wuff.
