Default Repairmen

For some reason, there have been a lot of repairmen around the front of my
apartment this week. And Persia, rather than getting all freaked out and
hiding, is acting like a guard-cat! It was, I swear, 10:00 at night when I
heard someone walking through the pine needles in front of my office window.
Persia immediately darted over there, checking out the noise. What is it,
girl? You won't believe it - a Cable TV repairman checking out someone's
connection! At 10:00 at night!

This morning, I'm sitting here typing away when suddenly I hear a
jack-hammer. I look out the window; what the heck is going on? Persia
rushes over to check things out. A couple of guys from an electrical
company are tearing up the driveway behind my car looking for a short in
some line. Persia meowed loudly at them - "Stop that racket!"

She's certainly getting more bold as she gets older. Maybe next time
someone knocks on the door she won't hide under the bed. Heheh

Whenever someone comes in to fix something, Stinky has to follow him
around and "help."

Vino loves the daily activity outside the house. He makes sure the bottled
water delivery guys put my big bottle in the right spot, the mail man is
carefully inspected through the kitchen window, once a month, the gardening
lady is watched from every window of the house, people working on the power
pole or telephone lines are fascinating, etc. And every M/W/F, he follows
his maid around the house, helping (hindering actually) her with the
housework. He always sleeps much longer on T/T/S mornings than the other
days!
He is such a goof, I've never seen him hide from anyone who comes into the
house. He's always right there, trying to headbutt even perfect strangers.
The only time I've noticed him be a bit scared is when this guy Rainer came
in, he's 6'7" and by far the tallest person Vino's ever seen. He kept a
distance of 10 feet from Rainer and looked up at him warily.

Sandpaper kisses, a cuddle and a purr. I have an alarm clock that's covered
in fur!

Like Stinky. Except when it's too hot, or he's feeling lazy, then
he'll just get up on the couch and show everyone his belly.
