Default (OT) How I spent my Saturday morning

You are either insane or very brave. or Both.

Never in a million years owul dou get me to do that (or throw myself out of
a plane, or down a cliff face, or strap a great elestic band to my ankles
and jump off a bridge).

well done for conquering those fears1 what was it like, you mad adventerous
woman,you?

I've never gone kayaking, but when I lived where I could do it I went white
water rafting frequently. One of the most fun things I have ever done. The
rapids in Julie's picture are either class 2 or 3 rapids - lotsa white, but
until you get into the upper threes, just fun, not dangerous. But, I gotta
admit, the higher the class, the more the adrenaline and the more fun. I
think the biggest I ever did was a 4. And it is a lot more safe than jumping
out of perfectly good airplanes or dangling off the side of a cliff. Most of
what you do is on calm water that is just going down river with rapids every
so often. The more of them, though, the more fun!
