I have my PC tower on my desk, and the monitor - a deep, old-fashioned one - sits next to it. There's a 5-inch gap in between them, and Smudge will lie on the monitor with her head on top of the CPU tower, her body stretched between them, just like Smokey's doing with the cat bed and the fish tank.
