I'm so sorry, Charleen. Thank you for sharing her story.

L.

Thank you Lorraine. Understanding Aggie Marble was made easier for her,
David and I by Rhonda of this board. He and I had no previous experience
with feral cats. They often need special understanding and consideration
which we were happy to give her.

Thank you so much Suz and Spicy. .We called her our Grumpy Old Lady as she
didn't socialize with the other cats or us either until nighttime. Then if
another cat got on the bed a Grumpy Snarl, or Grumpy Look would send the
miscrant away and she would Lord it over her Kingdom once more. Thank you
for your caring words.

Thank you Lori. Aggie will appriecate all the lovely candles as, being a
feral cat, she will not be stepping out, she will be darting here and there,
from place to place moving forward. May it be that the love and caring that
the candles shine on her infuse her with the confidence, and courage to
approach the Rainbow Bridge joyfully.
Your dear words are appreciated.

Dear Allison, yes they do, no matter what size they are. The consolidation
is that she is comfortable now. I couldn't want any more for her. As,
unfortunatley, you know having been there yourself. I hope you are coping
okay.

I appreciate your kind words, thank you. And I also am glad that she is no
longer pain as she appeared to be only the last two days. The vet could not
have been more wonderful and more supportive to Aggie and to me. We've all
been through this with a pet we love and it never gets easier does it?
Thank you again.

Thank you so much. In thinking about her as I write these notes I think of
how she went through her Whack A Mole period not too long ago. She would
stand at the side of the bed, make sure one of us was looking at her and
then she would drop down to the floor on all four feet and pop right back up
immediately. And on and on and on and on and on. She could have gotten on
the bed. Aggie Whack A Mole lasted about six weeks then Aggie jumping on
the bed when she felt like it returned. We do not have a clue what that was
all about.

Thank you so much Lee. The days have periods of tears and laughter. I
wounder if there more that we could have done but given the fact that she
was under the care of a terffic vet I doubt it, yet still wonder. On the
other hand I think of the day maybe two years ago that she went outside.
David and I could not think of any other time in her life that she had ever
been outside. This was her choice. One day I heard the most awful racket,
howling, yowling, feline cursing like you wouldn't believe! I rushed out to
the back porch door; Aggie was outside by the Kitty Door howling
unbelievably to get in. Two things were apparent. One is that she wasn't
afraid she was damn angry, the second was the the Kitty Door she was
standing by was open! I picked her up snuggled her close and took her into
the bedroom where she promptly disappeared under the bed.

you must keep it in your mind that you did the best at the time, do not
second guess yourself, just know you loved her and she loved you and that is
really, in the end, all that matters, Lee

Oh Charleen. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

I am so very, very sorry to hear this. We'll light a candle for her
journey and I am sure that Four is waiting for her to show her around
at the bridge.

Lots of love,
Helen M

Thank you so very much Helen. It is amazing how much more room I have in
the bed at night after Aggie and I finish reading, the light is turned out
and she wends her way under the bed. And I've gotten to be an expert at
being able to read a book holding it up above cat height to the left while
simultaneously patting, scritching and under the chin scratching said cat as
she required.
Yes, Four and Mr. Pumpkin will be there for her. Thank you, Helen.
