Default I miss my rescue 'garage kitty'

I miss coming home from work to find him waiting for me to give him
scritches, and tummy rubs.

I miss going out to the garage every 20 or 30 minutes, to 'check on
him'. He was always so happy to see me.

Well really it was to give him more attention.

He was such a big sweetheart.

Sigh....he's in a much better home now.

But he really wormed his way into my heart, while he was here :-(

will only be so many, and then there will never, ever, be any more.

It doesn't take long for them to do that, does it? When my daughter was a
teenager, she did some babysitting. The people she sat for were going on
vacation, and said they'd pay her if we'd keep their kitten at our house
while they were gone. By the time that two weeks were up, it hurt all of us
to have the kitten taken back home.

But your garage kitty probably got an even greater hold on you because you
saved him. ((((((((Matthew)))))))))

I know how you feel - I have been sad to have to give up foster or
rescue kitties if I got attached to them. And Buffy/Lucky seemed
like special kitty, very bonded to humans, so no wonder he got to
you! You did a great thing for him to find him such a good home (and
Kenzie thanks you too, for not letting him stay). But that doesn't
mean it's not sad. I would be missing a kitty like him, too.

I'm sorry. It must be hard, but take comfort in the knowledge you did
Buffy Boy a very good turn. Doesn't really fill that hole in your heart,
I know. I don't think I could ever foster cats.

Awwwwww, I'm sorry Gandalf, but you did a good thing and you made several
people happy. Purrs that your broken heart will heal quickly.

Of course he did- he wormed his way into all of our hearts and we're
all just so glad that as you can't keep him, he's fallen on his feet
with what sounds like a wonderful home. Surely you'll be able to see
him or get reports from his new slave?

Awwwww, I know it must be hard. But at least you know the person who has
Buffy Boy and maybe can have visiting privileges?

It doesn't take long, I can easily understand how you miss him. Will you be
getting reports from his new slave?

AWWWWWW, {{{{{{{Gandalf}}}}}}} Amazing how something so small can have a
heart so big, isn't it? You did what was right for all of you, hard as it
was. Will Buffy Boy's new slave give you updates, or even *gasp* home
visits?

I know how fast they can become a part of our hearts. Just try to console
yourself with the fact that you gave him the best life he could possibly
have!
