Well she hasn't toppled over yet, but it looks like she might. ;o) It's
also very very cute.

Caliban always supervises when I'm in the shower, too. Sometimes, a
little white paw comes snaking in at the edge of the shower curtain and
bats at the evil waddermonsters. Other times, he sticks his head in and
then looks surprised that he gets wet. He loves spending time in sinks,
both kitchen and bathroom. With his fascination with water, I'm a little
worried about taking him to the island. ;o)

LOL! Caliban's a natural clown, too. Miranda tries to look sleek and
elegant all the time, but then she slips up and does something silly,
like the head tilt coupled with the yawn.

What a joyful life you have with your cat-angels. Just reading your
story made me laugh. And then cry. Amber used to do all those things.
He was such a charming rascal. And it sounds like Caliban is going to
be a first class rascal, with mere for the charm. You are so lucky.

The way Miranda loves to have the extreme end of her snout scritched;
the bridge of her nose, her whisker pads, the end of her chin. If I
scritch the bridge of her nose long enough, she will open her mouth
slightly and a faint 'hrrrrrr hrrrrrr hrrrrr' sound can be heard. That's
the only time you can hear her purr, but I've come to recognize the
slighly quickening and deepening of her breathing that means that she is
purring.

These are things that set my current two aside from any other cats I've
known, and they make me laugh every day.


Soncek does the very same thing that Caliban does on the cat tree. He
doesn't look at me when he does it, but it could be that I have somehow
been neglecting my duties as a catslave, we humans are so impurrfect
compared to cats.

Soncek also loves me to scritch the bridge of his nose.
