Wheeee!

I know I've written about the Arab guy who used to own the little store down
the street after Mr. McLemore sold out. The Arab guy let the store go to
hell (not slamming Arabs, I just don't think that was his primary reason for
owning the store). Anyway, it was bought out buy a lovely Ethiopian couple
almost 9 months ago.

So I was in there today picking up a few odds and ends. Guy, the husband,
pointed over the side of the counter and said, "This is half off if you want
some." I looked; he'd stacked up 20 lb. bags of cat food - stuff like Meow
Mix. Oh, sorry, Persia can't eat that. His wife Marta said, "No? She
can't eat it?" No, sorry, she's on a special diet. But then I noticed they
had a stack of 20 lb. bags of Tidy Cat odor control litter (for multiple
cats). I checked it out. - half price is $2.00 USD! Whoa! So of course I
said yes!

I usually buy the sand-like "scoopable" litter. But that stuff is
expensive. And I know Persia doesn't mind regular Tidy Cat (just as I know
she hated but used the "crystals" formula). So for $2 I have 20 lbs. of cat
litter. Combine that with her free R/x food coupons and you've got
"Wheee!!!!!"
