She has been renamed Sofi by her new owner, my neighbor Judy. Judy has
been wanting a long-haired cat and this all worked out great. Sofi was
very shy but enjoyed being petted. She purrs a lot. Wish her luck in
her new "forever" home.

What Steve said. Congratulations and all good luck wishes to Sofi and her
new Meowie who knew a good thing when she saw it. I hope they'll be very
happy together for many years to come. Sofi is such a lovely girl, I'd hate
to think of her going to the pound! Litterbox offerings to the "boyfriend"
who would have turned her over to one. I think the woman should have kept
the cat and dumped the boyfriend. =o) But perhaps I am prejudiced. Anyway,
as you say, everything worked out for the best.
