Default Wild Wind! (OT)

It rained all day yesterday (and still is). Yesterday afternoon I was on
the couch looking out the window and noticed the wind had picked up a
little. The boughs on the pine trees in the yard behind my patio fence were
swaying back and forth. A *very* short time later those same boughs were
whipping around in a total frenzy!

I have a covered swing on my patio. And as I watched this wind I suddenly
thought, uh oh, this could be bad. Before I could think what I could
possibly do, the wind hit the canopy top just right and the swing collapsed
before my eyes!

I shoved on some shoes and ventured out. Two of the poles that attach the
canopy to the frame had come out of the section where they join together,
one on the front right side the other on the rear left side. The swing is
canted over looking very sad and forlorn.

I *think* I can put it back together, assuming the frame isn't bent. I do
hope I can. I love sitting out there in nice weather, with Persia in her
Kitty-Walk enclosure off to the side catching some sun. As usual, it's true
what they say: when it rains, it pours. (sigh)
