A little pure protein might stimulate his appetite. Agreed!I put cooked fresh chicken bits in Jasper's food every day to keep him eating. He seems to eat less of his canned food if we don't put the chicken in! Also, don't forget baby food! Jasper licks it right off the spoon! Thanks! I forgot about the baby food. I'll pick some up today. (no onions of course). |

kitkatluna wrote: pam, finally feeling tired enough to maybe lay down and try to sleep more... I hope you ladies got some sleep. I was so pooped that I fell asleep early. Just woke up at 4:30am, and got up to use the bathroom. Maynard was still hanging out in the living room, so I brought him down to bed. He's now in his spot next to where i sleep. Off to finish my night's sleep. |

Off to finish my night's sleep. Sleep can be a great healer. Indeed. Plus, now that I *know* why I am so tired lately, at least I don't feel guilty about all the naps I seem to need! I wonder what the kitties excuses are for sleeping all day! "We're *healing* ourselves, mom!" lol, tranquilized pam |

In addition to Phil's here is another cat site: http://claw.org/library/room2/felinebloodserum.html As the pages almost always say, a range is specific to the lab machine used to do the tests. They are pretty close generally, but not always identical. This isn't a feline site, but it's an excellent human site which can give you a good idea of why things are done. The result of a high or low reading may not be the same for a human as an animal but frequently are. http://www.labtestsonline.org/index.html When you check a test on the above page, there will be several tabs for each test. The tab called 'the test' has the most info, while the top tab will explain briefly while the test is done. |
