Ollie and Ollie
Our neighbours have acquired a dog (or puppy, I haven't seen it yet).
They are trying to train it - not very successfully, it seems, given the arguments they're having about how to do it right. So, they are trying to teach it its name. Which means they keep calling out "Ollie!". The puppy doesn't have a clue, but our Ollie knows what that word means. He must be disappointed to find out that in neighbourese it means "dogfood". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- e m a i l : j a c k @ c a m p i n . m e . u k Jack Campin, 11 Third Street, Newtongrange, Midlothian EH22 4PU, Scotland mobile 07800 739 557 http://www.campin.me.uk Twitter: JackCampin |
