Default Persia & Milk

Ah, I miss having a little sweet grey cat meow at me when I open the
refrigerator!

Persia loved milk. I'd give her a little drizzle of it every once in a
while. But it did get to be a trial any time I went near the
refrigerator. She always assumed I was getting milk. I'd have to say,
"Nope, all gone!" She'd slink off, looking rather dejected, when I
brought out something like zucchini instead. Sorry, girl, I really
don't think you'd like squash.

It did become a challenge when I *really* wanted a glass of milk. I'd
find myself looking over my shoulder to make sure she was napping. I
felt a bit like a teenager sneaking a smoke. Don't let Persia see you
with the milk! LOL She certainly kept me on my toes. :-D

I love how you had to sneak a glass of milk when she was napping.

Sweep (RB) loved milk and cream but it didn't suit her it gave her the
runs. I tried the cat milk but she didn't love it as she did the ordinary
milk. She didn't hang about when I went into the fridge as did Persia.

Lindy got a small amount of milk every day. She knew when it was time,
and came running. When Skeeter was alive, he had to have some too, even
though he hated it. You could see his whole body stiffen as he forced
himself to drink it. You couldn't leave him out, though, or he'd push
Lindy away from her dish. I gave him about a tablespoon ful as compared
to Lindy's ounce.

I know some cats are lactose intolerant but Persia wasn't. She didn't
get more than a little drizzle, though, and then only every few weeks.
She was also picky. I drink lowfat milk. She'd turn her nose up at
anything heavier. Cream? Out of the question!

She'd drive me crazy when I opened the refrigerator. Oooh, oooh! milk?

That's amusing, Joy. He didn't really like it but he had to have some
because she got some. Like little kids. How come she gets some and I
don't? LOL

Persia liked milk but she didn't get it very often. She did give me a
heck of a time when I opened the refrigerator door, though. That's
pretty much when she talked the most.
