How did the cataract surgery go? How is your vision today?
Sending purrs and best wishes for a great result. MLB

Thanks for asking; it went well and quickly. My bionic (LOL) new lens
much better than the human one
with the thick cataract; no pain at all during or after surgery (as
noted earlier: very high pain tolerance,
very low boredom tolerance. Get this: doc let me *drive* home: I now
need no glasses to drive and already
have two pairs of those FosterGrants with the little LED lights in
earpieces and they work great for reading
now that the cataract is gone. If you're interested in getting a
bargain on those this week (two for one price:
they ain't cheap) at Walgreens perhaps your son or someone you know
could take you to a Walgreens to
check them out (various strengths: I have the strongest).
I got the strange plastic eye paatch off for days now, and ordered to
tape it on only at night to sleep. Anyone
who needs cataract surgery should have no fear of anything: quick,
painless, and no big deal post-op
precautions. Do it!
Now if we can only get that NFL lockdown off, football viewing will be
improved this season.

I'm glad to hear that the op. went well and that your eyesight is so much
better.

Thank you. My doc and his staff could not understand why I did not get
the cataract off sooner.
How I could live with its PITA limitations. I had more pressing
medical stuff to pay for: heavy
duty dental work...done over a year, but cheap at a college dental
school by students...cheap.
One thing at a time when you live off USA retirement benefit.

Glad to hear it went well.

I'm so glad you've finally been able to have that done - sight is something
we just take for granted until it becomes compromised.
