Default NFC

I was thinking last night. With an increasing number of smart phones
featuring NFC, it would be very useful if someone wrote an app so they
could read microchips in pets. Even more useful, if the have chips like
Baggy's, the could read the animal's temperature.

That is an excellent idea, but would require a hardware change. The RF
component of NFC operates at a radio frequency of 13.56 MHz while Home
Again runs at 125 KHz and ISO chips operate at 134.2 KHz.
