Actually, it *was* a fad, at least around here, in the late 80's. You
paid (at least $10) for the privilege of donning a velcro suit, jumping on a trampoline device, and flinging yourself against a wall for the purpose of sticking there. It was an attraction with most midways. I remember my son begging to do the "vecro man" thing. Some pubs around here advertised it. My wife is still working contract for ESRI in Redlands (they *still*) haven't hired her!), and on Friday they had a big party to celebrate the first anniversary of the company cafe.
