Default Purrs needed - shelter kitten

Hi everyone,
One of the kittens at the shelter, a little grey and white girl named
Anastasia, suddenly became ill. I was at the shelter yesterday, and she
seemed fine. Was very energetic, appeared healthy. This morning, one of
the volunteers called me (the kitten coordinator is on vacation) and said
she was lethargic and didn't think she was eating. I took Ana to the vet,
he said she has a URI and had a fever. He gave her some sub-q fluids, sent
her home with Amoxicillin and an appetite stimulant. I took Ana home. I
syringe-fed her some Hill's a/d mixed with water, and a few minutes ago, she
actually took a few bites of food on her own. Poor little girl seems so
sad. She mostly just sits there in the meatloaf position. She's about 3-4
months old. It's 1:30 AM and I'm afraid to go to sleep. I have some sub-q
fluids here in case she gets dehydrated.

Oh, poor little baby! Purrs for her to get better ASAP. I wonder how
she got sick so quickly?
