Gosh darn it. I hate to say it. I love my Miss Pua, but........ I can't
get a moment's peace! She is *so* my constant companion that I'll be at the
toilet (I'm sick a lot) and she's right there crying at the door for
attention. I can't take a shower without her screaming to get into the
bathroom, and I can't even go outside and water the plants without her
going from window to window to watch me.......she's got to have me in sight
at all times.

It's very sweet, but it's getting to be a little troublesome lately. Does
anyone else have this problem with one of your dear ones?

I had a cat that really, really loved to be with me, as much as
possible. She was sooo very, very sweet.

But, she went to the Bridge on 6/9/1999.

I miss her terribly, each and every day.

I seem to have something in my eye....

Every day is a treasure with Kenzie; I try to treat them that way. There
will only be so many, and then there will never, ever, be any more.

Yes. He's known as "The Yowlet" here. LOL

Between pets leaving for the bridge and children growing up, I know whereof
you speak. The things that can, for lack of a better word, annoy you, are
the things you will later miss the most.

Yes, but it doesn't bother me particularly. They just hang out in the
bathroom while I shower. Here's a cute story about Dante monitoring my
activities:

Does Miss P have any Siamese genes? That sounds *so* Meezer. Frank
is like that. But he *won't let me pick him up*. He's so demanding
of attention that he'll jump on the arm of the chair and smack me
across
the cheek with the paw; or stick his head up in my face (he likes his
head kissed).
Biskit loves attention too; but she's so timid, and so polite. She'll
get at my
feet, look up with a tiny little "mew" then start twirling. It's
really cute and you
just HAVE to drop what you're doing and pet her.

Sherry

Yes, Sherry, she's a Meezer. You nailed it. She snags me when I walk by.
Oh, and she twirls too! :-D

In dogs, its called "separation anxiety" I can't help with a cure for a cat
though. You might like to google it and see if there is any advice about
separation anxiety for cats. Fortunately neither of my cats suffer from it.
They are happy to see me, but aren't bothered if I'm not here and don't
follow me around if I am. Boyfie occasionally feels the need to accompany
me to the bathroom, but not as often as he once did. Once upon a time he
thought it was imperative ;-)
