I just found the absolute coolest, most ridiculously expensive piece of
cat furniture. If I win the lotto, I'm getting one of these for the crew:

I wonder how hard would it be to make one myself.... hmmmmm....

If I were you, I'd go and collect a bunch of free cardboard boxes from
the grocery and try to design one. That way your cats will like it
better anyway.

My cats prefer things that weren't made specifically for them. Like
just plain cardboard boxes-- I have them all over the living room. Not
very artistic, but cheap. What is really fun is when one of them camps
out in a box and another comes tearing up thinking they're going to go
into the box and finds it already occupied!

I will say....that looks like it would be one hell of a lot of work.
Intersting though.

It looks like they must have a mechanical stage hooked up to a
computer running a CAD program to translate their designs to layers.
The end result looks a lot like what comes out of those 3D printers.
It's neat.

I wonder if you could send them a CAT scan of your head and ask them
to make one of those in the shape of your brain?

Wow! I mean, it looks nice and all - but it's just cardboard for pity's
sake!

I love it - I could just see the boys peering out all those holes! I can
also see that my boys would reduce that cardboard to *extremely* shabby chic
in no time. Chester loves to scratch cardboard :-)

You need 7, then each cat can have their own. ;o)

Surely they have got the idea for this cocoon from a wasp's nest?
They are made of cardboard too - chewed by the wasps.
And the shape...

What did wasps use before humans invented cardboard?
