ROFL - do you remember a few years ago when people would put on these
velcro outfits and fling themselves at a velcro-covered wall, to
stick up there? Perhaps this was just a USA fad

It was a skit by Dave Letterman. Not exactly a "fad"

Jill

Actually, it *was* a fad, at least around here, in the late 80's. You paid (at
least $10) for the privilege of donning a velcro suit, jumping on a trampoline
device, and flinging yourself against a wall for the purpose of sticking there.
It was an attraction with most midways. I remember my son begging to do the
"vecro man" thing.

Some pubs around here advertised it.

My wife is still working contract for ESRI in Redlands (they *still*)
haven't hired her!), and on Friday they had a big party to celebrate the
first anniversary of the company cafe. One of the attractions they had
was a velcro wall.

ROFL - if this catches on again widespread, I'll be xraying lots of folks
who - although they had fun in the late 80's flinging themselves onto the
velcro walls, are *far* too old for such goings-on these days, myself
included......*as if*!
