Default I been sick OT, more or less

We're calling it a cold, but I'm not sure if that is the correct disease
this time. Mandy came down with it Tuesday morning, I had it by Tuesday
afternoon, and Rob had it by Wednesday morning. By Saturday morning Rob and
Mandy were over it, cheerful, and wanted to party. Loudly. My head still
felt bigger than my body, my tummy was still queasy, and I still wanted to
curl up in a ball and shuffle off this mortal coil. Ok, I wanted to die.
My hair hurt. QC was also sleeping on the top of my head, so there were
contributing factors involved. Speedy dog slept beside Mike's bed (by
agreement, when I get sick I move out of our room and into Mike's room) QC,
Merlin, and Huey have been pretty consistent and Qui Gun Kit came in for
comforting this morning after momma Sonya spanked him. I don't know what he
did but I heard her yowl then Qui screeched, then came running in and
demanded that I make that bad old cat go away. I got lots of sleep. . .NOT!

So my email overflowed from almost a week worth of unread mail, my head
still feels like someone tried to pull my eyeballs out with crochet hooks,
and the cats have been playing cat of the mountain on my poor sore belly.
What I really want to say is, I'm sorry for not reading every message like I
usually do, want to send purrs and good wishes to everyone who needs them,
and that Rob is fine, the beast, and I'll be there someday again.

Pam S. who wishes she healed as quickly as Rob even with his immune system
suppressed

Get better soon, Pam. Purrs from my gang. Do little mousie squeaks help,
too? (the pet mice)

Purrs for you to feel better soon. It sounds to me as if you have the flu.
I hope you recover quickly.

I don't know if it's the same thing, but there's been a nasty upper
respiratory infection making the rounds here in Houston. Hope you feel
better!

Speedy get well wishes to you all! I've been gone to see my mom in Florida
for 5 days and just got back late last night so I hope these wishes are
still in time to do some good.
Purrs from us all,
