Default Toilet Paper Eater

Why does my Persian, eat toilet paper? I now have to hide the roll in a
drawer.

I don't know - eating paper/TP is a new one on me. Cats tend to like
plastic (one of mine gnaws on the edges of the shower courtain, for
example), and Siamese sometimes have a penchant for clotth/wool, but
paper...

One of my cats loves chocolate muffin wrappers, and he'll eat blueberry
wrappers in a pinch. We don't let him have them intentionally, but it's
not the type of thing that normally interests a cat, so I didn't worry
about throwing it in the garbage in my office (which is not cat proof)

Took a few times of him dumping the garbage to figure out what he was
after (when I picked it up I wasn't exactly looking for stolen garbage,
I was mostly just annoyed that one of my terrorist kittens had dumped
the garbage *again*)

Since we found out we've been much more careful... Strange cat.

Because toilet paper is the natural enemy of the housecat AND
MUST BE DESTROYED. Didn't you get the memo?
