good day,

I've search via google and the cat faq but could not find an answer to
this question.

Can a cat get ringworm more than once?

Yes... it's a fungus that can remain in the environment for extended
periods. IIRC, it's the same fungus as human athlete's foot.

It's actually a dermatophyte - a primitive plant - not a fungus,
although it's treated like a fungus and often called a fungus.
Microsporum canis is the most common causative agent for feline
ringworm; human ringworm is caused by Tricophyton rubrum or
mentagrophytes, and less commonly Microsporum canis.

You can get reinfected multiple times, from any of these organisms.

Yeah, they can get it more than once. In my experience, some cats (and
humans) are just more susceptible. I've never gotten it and have
handled dozens of cats with ringworm.
Frank actually caught ringworm probably from spores off my clothing.
The other cats never got it.

Yes. There's no acquired immunity.
