Here's an Anecdote For Ya :)

Back home Persia would get on the sofa and head-butt and purr in my ear,
give me kitty kisses on my arm and a gentle bite which was also a kitty
kiss. Then she'd snuggle next to me while I read a book or watched TV. If
I napped she'd tap me on my nose, just because she's a goofy cat who thinks
tapping on my nose is funny. Mom found this hilarious.

Well, Persia has starting looking in my mom's bedroom. Where is she? Why
isn't that old lady here? I think Persia misses her even though they merely
nodded acquaintances most of the time.

Stinky would always keep my mom company until I came home, then he would
plant himself in my lap. My mom would say, "Oh, all right, go to your
girlfriend."

That's cute.
My Tyler is the other way around - he is completely besotted with my
mum. When she visits he runs to the front door as soon as he hears her
car and he has eyes for noone else until she leaves.
