Default I'm Still Alive [OT]

I'm sorry; I've just been in that curled-up-in-a-ball position again.

My purrs to all affected by the storm; it looks like rpca=ers are okay?

Blanket purrs to all in need.

My latest is I had to go see a podiatrist about my foot. It felt like
railroad spikes were being driven through my ankle and heel. Dr. walks
in, I say: "Good news or bad news". His reply? "You're a mess." Uh-oh.

I have so many things wrong with my left foot I think the toes are the
only parts undamaged. Worst of it is my heel is broken in two places.
I am stuck wearing Das Boot for a month to see if we can stabilize
*anything*.

At first the cats were a bit, um, nervous. STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!
(that's about the way this damned thing sounds, and it's incredibly big
and awkward). Kitties go scrambling. "Hey, guys, let's get out of the
way! Some giant monster has got ahold of Mommy's foot and is coming for
us!" But now they're getting used to it, which is not such a good
thing, considering my control over it is not 100%.

At any rate, things just keep going down and I just keep falling apart,
one step at a time. At least my fuzzballs are still here with me.

Love to all,

Ginger-lyn
