Default Cat peeing in sink

I posted earlier about Stella, my 8 month old kitty scratching in the sink
and squatting. She only does this when I go to the bathroom, not my fiancé.
Well, last night, after all the trying (she looks like she's trying to pee)
she finally did. Just a little, but pee nonetheless. Happened again this
morning. She is a healthy girl and only does this with me. Why would she be
doing this?

She's just a baby. Maybe she's theorizing that she wants to pee like
the humans do - down a hole with water and since she can't fit in the
toilet - that the sink is cat-sized. LOL.

Try picking her up gently when she's in the sink and relocating her to
the litterbox each time.

Must be a cat thing. I used to have a cat that would use the hole in the bath tub if we had managed to shut the door that led to his cat box. The pee wasn't hard to handle, but he would **** there too. That's a hole bunch better than on the carpet or divan!

She probably thinks of you as the dominant female and is trying to emulate you.

Allen

Sorry for the pun, but it is my First Ammendment Right!!

I don't know but I'd count it as a blessing. If she does this
consistantly all you would have to do to the box is scoop out the
turds and flush them.

My cat-an overweight 2 y/o tabby hops up on the sink when I go to the
bathroom also- not to pee but to wait for me to turn on the water. He
then indulges himself in the good old h2o. He drinks like this is his
only water source. I think its cute but it does make it difficult to
shave in the morning.
