Default Another for the record books . . .

So I am feeding the cats their evening meal, and hurrying about it since
it is a precise, perfectly-timed act -- or it should be.

But of course, for me, it can't possibly be.

So I am scrambling from the dining room to the kitchen, when something
happens and I pull up short and hard, nearly falling (at least I didn't
make it down to the floor). You know those big plastic things of cat
litter? With the plastic handles? Well, I had picked on with a handle
that wasn't attached. And somehow, somewhere (because this *couldn't*
happen in this Universe), the loose handle managed to end up right
between two of my toes.

Well, the bruise extended halfway down my foot. And the pain has been
here for several days now. And I can't get ahold of my doctor.

Arrrghhhhhh!!!

It's Jack's fault, y'know. It's always Jack's fault ;-)

Ginger-lyn

PS Fell on the floor day before yesterday, which kicked in my sciatica
and did who knows what else.

Honest, I *am* going to make a bubble-wrap suit. But if any of you come
near me with popping in your eyes, you're on the ground, baby! big
evil grin

I do sympathize, Ginger-lyn. I ran into a floor myself the other day. Now
the left side of my face is green and my left eyelid is purple, along with
various other bumps, bruises and sore spots. Falling is no fun!

What is going on here? All I can figure out it it's still Autumn aka
'Fall'.
And yes Ginger-Lyn, it's all Jack's fault, he being your ex?
Be careful you guys, the floors are out to getcha.

Yikes! Naw -- Jack is my cat. He's the direct cause of me shattering
my pelvis, so now I just say everything is Jack's fault ;-)

Yeah, I got a walker too. I inherited it from my late sister-in-law.
It's one of the wheely kind. And it sure helps to keep me from falling.
But, too crowded around the house to use it here.

My doctor (who is a right twit) is going to see me shortly about the
falling issue. Maybe he won't be a twit about *that* and I can find out
what is going on.
