Default A display of hierarchal command ...

Got home from running around the other day and sat on the couch. The
elder cat, Cosmo, came around the corner to greet me, using that 'big
cat' saunter.

Oreo, who was lying on the rug in his usual spot, reached out with one
paw and tapped Cosmo on the rear, then jumpoed up, expecting Cosmo to
take off and run into the bedroom, and the chase would be on - a usual
game for the two.

This time, Cosmo just STOPPED in his tracks, slowly turned around,
puffed himself up and stood TALL on his front paws, cocking his head to
one side, GLARING at Oreo.

Oreo just LAYED DOWN.

I was freakin crackin up. I could see the look on Oreo's face ...
"Uhhhh ... uh-oh"

LOL!
Similar displays are seen here too, Laku being the older and Nico the...
was going to say "little one", but he's bigger than Laku, just younger
by three years.

I can picture that. Cats are awfully expressive!

Awwww, I have a Cosmo, too. And I can see him doing exactly the same
thing. He is a Cat with Catitude and doesn't take any silliness by
younger upstarts.
