Default Hubert's discovered food!

He's 22 days old, and he's chowing down at mom's bowl! He's nursing,
but he's also eating *quite a lot* of cat food. I am wondering if
he'll end up so big we'll have to get an exotic pet license. ;-)

Hubert's also discovered the water. He couldn't quite figure out the
drinking fountain; I watched while several times he stuck his nose in
it and snorted, then stuck a paw in it and shook it furiously when it
came out wet. He moved from there to Tallulah's water bowl - surely
the still, tame water should be easier to deal with. It wasn't. He'd
stick his nose in and snort, then circle the bowl to see if the water
was behaving better in another location. It wasn't. Lotsa snorting.
Then Tallulah noticed what he was doing, scruffed him, and dragged him
away. In a bit he approached the fountain again, but she was right
behind him to drag him away from the dangerous water. The poor little
guy may never get the hang of drinking, if Tallulah's around to
prevent it.

She, on the other hand, is a great consumer of water from both bowl
and fountain. Maybe she just doesn't want to share.

Sounds like you've got quite the entertainment center at home now! Will
Hubert play with cat toys yet?

Heehee. I wish I could be there and see him.Tallulah seems to have some
strange rules - do not get up on the couch, do not drink water... What next?
