Unfortunately you're posting from Google and they make it impossible
for their users.

If you're using a Mac I could advise you how to use an alternative.
If you're on Windows, somebody else better help.

As far as I can tell, Thunderbird doesn't have that option either. :-(

It does! I promise you! I have a rather healthy killfile using
Thunderbird. Open the post you object to. Click on Message Create
Filter from Message. Select your criteria for filtering the poster.
The function is there and it really works very well.
