one of the things that my spinal surgery took away was my ability to write.
I can now do it, but not great yet.

It was one of the worst things, not being able to write. It's taken a
year - it's such a long way to recovery from spinal injury.

Just be careful not to over do. You want to be able to keep enjoying
things with Boyfie!

I always try to over do. Like with the potato planting. I had to clear the
plot of weeds first so by the time I came to plant them, I was exhausted, so
I only planted 7.
Boyfie accompanied me to help by watching me and keeping me company.

I know. I'm just trying to be encouraging. I like that you planted
spinach, too. I love spinach. Of course he didn't pay any attention
to the birds... um... well, yes, he did.

I do too, it's lovely in curries.

Of course he did. He's a cat ;-) Actually it's a few years since he caught
one. It's not encouraged here since he was catching collared doves most days
for KFC when she would eat almost nothing else. After she was gone, I
stopped praising him for catching birds and he gradually stopped doing it.
He likes to look at them though and say "if I was a bit younger, you'd be an
ex-bird.."

Persia chattered when she saw them. That weird little trilling sound
cats make when they're excited and spotting potential prey. She
probably would have been a good hunter if she'd been able to keep quiet. LOL
