Default Somewhat OT - spiders

I live in the UK, where spiders aren't dangerous to humans or cats. I
have a real fondness for them, and will rescue them from the cats if
possible, and give them a merciful death if they're looking too chewed
to survive. I love this time of year, and can spend many happy minutes
wandering round the garden admiring webs.
