I'm a good slave (or Molly thinks so anyway)
I was a Sams Club earlier today (Its a warehouse store)
Youngest grandson spotted a SmartyCat Catnip Convertible in the pet section. They are fake fur covered cat beds that can either be used flat, or the top pops up to make an enclosed cat bed. It comes with a plastic pouch of catnip. When I got it home and read the directions, their is a zipper on the bottom and a fabric bag inside that you fill with part of the pouch of catnip. By the time I reached that point and was trying to disconnect the plastic bag of nip from the rest of things, Molly had suddenly quit her nap in the back room and was very much interested. As soon as I had it assembled and popped up, she took immediate claim. I mean its still in the middle of the family room floor. Hardly a place she would choose for a nap. Jake came in a few minutes to check what was in the air and got hissed at and smacked with claws for his trouble. Molly never is assertive with him! It was less than $8 so I suppose if I were a really good slave I'd go buy another one for Jake tomorrow. Jo |

Once everyone has their own they'll feel free to ignore them ;=) I bought the girls here something at walmart a couple nights ago. It's a little two level, three sided fabric deal, which cost about $12, which is supposed to stand in a corner. Everyone crowded around to help put the thing together, and everyone, even Little Bit investigated it closely. The top level is open and supposed to be for a cat to nap on. I don't know who designs these things, but I doubt that even a lightweight Furby could jump up there without knocking the thing over. It works pretty good now that I've stapled it to the wall, though ;-) -- Steve Touchstone, faithful servant of Sammy, Little Bit, Spot, Princess and Furby with loving memories of Rocky (RB) video clips at http://tinyurl.com/29o8ck photos at http://tinyurl.com/22pfn8 |
