Any news on Pam Shirk?

She seems to have disappeared into the ether. Not on FB, not answering
e-mail etc etc. Hope she's OK.

Her last personal report (memory here; did not archive posts) after an
arduous (complete with dragging travel trailer)
rescue mission cross-country from NC to WA to retrieve one of her
offspring, SO, and pets thereof, mission accomplished.
Then several other of her offspring and SO's, in late stages of
pregnancy, descended into her household, delivered said resulting
grandchildren by midwife or other means, and were all living, to her
utter delight (her FB profile pics consist of
various infant grandchildren) and all were living happily in her house
in Fayetteville. None were employed anywhere and her military widow's
pension was sole income of the large group.
Archiving ng posts from her may reveal further and more updated 411.

My personal experience is that people who are really difficult to
locate or contact usually want it that way. Maybe yours
differs.

Whew! In those circumstances, my guess would be she simply has no TIME
for such comparative frivolity as newsgroup participation! If anyone
has direct contact with her, you might let her know many of us here are
thinking of her, and wish her well.
