Default The most unlikely to hear God?

As I have previously posted, I have been experiencing what some call the dark
night of the soul: the questions of faith that sometimes makle you want to
scream in anguish that there is no God, and no reason to hope.

And then you get a bizarre touch of something most unexpected.

I'd read Louie's US News & World Report this morning; I turned on CNN. There
was nothing good. You watch news anymore and this can prompt anyone into
chucking it all and saying screw it, there is no God. I went to read my
Nitnem book, the Sikh prayer book. And I found myself regaled with the most
surprising kitty-cat kisses, for they were from Stosh. Stosh isn't a kisser
the way Brandy is, the way she licks like a puppy. Stosh gives me the
occasional nose-kiss; but these were all-out lick-the-mama kisses, and he was
purring away. Can someone have been speakibng to him?

Blessed be,
Baha

Sometimes I think our four-footed friends are messengers from God.
