Dunzi died of either an infection and/or cancer- now it may sound
cruel to say I hope it was cancer but that's because cancer is not
infectious and an infection by its very definition is infectious

Sarsi has the runs big time! She flooded her litter tray with it, she
seems okay maybe it's something she ate (but she's only eaten wet and
dry cat fudz unless she got into the bins and they are not knocked
over) she seems okay but I am watching her like hawk and wondering
whether she may have to go to the vet tomorrow and hoping she hasn't
got the same thing....I could do with some purrs here I can't bear
losing both of them so closely together

Mega purrs for Sarsi to be OK.

Super, mega healing purrs are on their way. Please keep us updated on
her condition - I am so very worried for her too.

Virtual purrs from me, as I don't have an owner at the moment -
but I'll ask the neighbourhood cats to send theirs when I see
them.

Wouldn't it be nice if whenever we messed up our life we could simply press
'Ctrl Alt Delete' and start all over?

No, you really didn't need this. Lots of purrs that it was just
something she ate, and it will be all better by the time you read this.

I've heard from several people that rats are really smart and make wonderful
pets.

A friend of mine runs a rat rescue (she also somehow ended up rescuing
2 chincillas and some ferrets but some people don;t know the
difference apparently and she wouldn't turn an animal in need away-
she also has a cat) and she swears they are great pets

We had a pet rat when I was a kid. My sisters Biology project. I met a
guy at a funeral who carried his rat in his shirt pocket. They are
probably the best of the cage pets. Rats are highly social so you
should get two, preferably males.

It's quite understandable that you should be a little paranoid now. So
glad to hear she's alright now.

I couldn't find her this morning but I hadn't been out so I was
getting really worried but she surfaced with a look that said quite
plainly "Will you PLEASE stop calling me I'm trying to have a snooze
here!"
